SOFTLY UNBREAKABLE

Adorned in the most beautiful blue she sits regally on her throne.

A true Queen who has embraced everything that this life presents.

Power and serenity reflected in those steely blue eyes

Connecting directly to her soul, living countless days

Experiencing the depths and heights, she remains, always,

Softly Unbreakable…

 

Whilst we may not know the story of this true Queen

The projected vision is in itself a true inspiration.

Every ounce of power required to thrive was born within,

Echoing through the throes of laughter to countless seeping tears

And myriad emotions, accompanying every joyful refrain.

Quivering doubt and, at times, blinding full-on fear. She remains

Softly Unbreakable…

 

The photograph above is Siggy's favourite picture of her Mother and here, represents SigRun Design's 2021 mini collection, 'Softly Unbreakable.'  I find the whole idea conceptually stunning and would love a dress in this material- so much more powerful than logos! To be softly unbreakable speaks volumes about vulnerability, approachability, resistance- our very human essence. The will to overcome and carry on shines through the picture and I am certain this is fully represented throughout the entire collection.

I love Siggy's work. She is super talented and her collections grace top fashion shows around the world and is featured on many magazine covers. I will be sharing a few of Siggy's own words, a part of her story, this coming Wednesday and included is a totally stunning dress, so be ready!
