#Africa Trending! Lesson on hatred. Written by Mamadou Diop

AFRICAN LESSON OF LIFE!!!: "There is no medicine to cure hatred"  Is love not the medicine for hatred? Of course, it is. Then what is the point of this lesson? You see, whether you are rich or poor, popular or unknown, educated or illiterate, perfect or flawed, great or low, charming or ugly, there will always be people who will hate you. There is nothing you can do about it. So in this sense, there is no remedy to save you from being hated. Not many of us consider ourselves sick for having hateful feelings. But the one who has hatred is sick. In fact, that person is seriously ill and needs immediate ‘’medical attention. Hated is a cancer of the soul! And we will do well to see it as such. Now, human hatred is not a single emotion but a composite of emotions. It consists of two or more of feelings of envy, anger, betrayal, dissatisfaction, fear, regret, anxiety, dejection, sadness, disgust, pain, and others. The only sensible cure for hatred is love because love is a composite of emotions (for lack of a better word). It consists of joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faith, and or self-control. Be love-driven!
