There was a very interesting article in the news today which we shared on our facebook page, (check link to the right,) regarding the behaviour of baby chimps. The chimp concerned was throwing a tantrum while awaiting her meal and as a result was disciplined by her elders!
We thought it would be interesting to follow this through by sharing information about the largest apes, gorillas. Gorillas have always be regarded with awe and have featured in many films being shown as powerful, violent animals. The reality is that despite their power, gorillas are essentially peaceful animals which is highlighted by the remarkable scenes shot in 'Gorilla's in the Mist.'
