AFRICAN WISDOM!!! "If you cannot add to the person you are with, Pease. don't subtract from him" The proverb says the golden rule of life is to do to others what we would like them to do to us. if we cannot improve the lives of people we should at least not worsen their life. If you can't speak life into someone, do not drag them down with sharp words. Do not demean them. If you can't find something to praise them for, do not start a campaign to criticize, them harshly and unjustly. Even when you criticize a person, do it in a way that will build them up, and help them to grow- a criticism that holds lessons in its hands. Not a criticism full of scorn and malice. Make people believe in themselves, don't take away the little confidence that they have. As Mama used to say "if you have nothing good to say, shush your mouth."
